Functional Medicine doctor at Hanya House, Dr. Rav James, is back in The Remedy Bar, this week discussing Tahini or sesame paste – an ingredient that packs huge medicinal value, but is not often used outside of the middle east, mostly because people simply don’t know how.
Not only is tahini one of Dr. Rav’s favourite food medicines, but it is also filling (great for meals without meat or as a salad dressing) and delicious. The recipe that Dr. Rav shares in this video has been described as “addictive.”
We are quite picky about our tahini and can highly recommend The Old Stone Mill: Vegan-friendly, dairy free, gluten free, lightly roasted and then stone ground using a stone mill.
