Methodology

Ketamine is administered sub-lingually (under the tongue) in a calm, tranquil setting. A Medical Doctor and Life Coach (trained in facilitating non-ordinary states of consciousness) are present to support where necessary during the experience. One session lasts 120 minutes.

Although ketamine has a high safety profile and is considered by the WHO as one of the top ten essential drugs in the world, our team follows strict safety measures during each session, maintaining up-to-date appropriate emergency training, and ensuring that all drugs and equipment are available on hand in the rare event that it would be needed.

When ketamine is used in Ketamine Assisted Therapy, the dosage is approximately four times lower than dosages used for anesthetics. In comparison to other anesthetic agents, ketamine allows patients to continue to breathe normally and has minimal effects on the cardiovascular system.
