BeJay Watson often reminds us that, in White River, we are lucky to live on the Nilotic Meridian. This is an energetic ley line that runs along 31-degrees east longitude. This wide meridian is at the very centre of the Earth’s land masses.
In the north it runs along the course of the Nile River (the only river in the world that flows from south to north) and in the south it runs along the so-called “River of Gold”, over sites where gold has been mined for centuries.
The Nilotic Meridian has been celebrated for many years, especially by African healers, because of the unusually high number of sacred sites that lie along its route. The Giza plateau, the Temple of Philae, Adam’s Calendar (the most ancient archeo-astronomical site on Earth), Great Zimbabwe, the Modjadji (African Rain Queen), and the famous white lions of the Timbavati can all be found on 31-degrees east longitude.
African healers speak of the Nilotic Meridian as a living energy that is powerful both because of its location at the centre of the Earth’s land masses and because of the ancient ceremonies and rituals that are continually performed along its line. The Nilotic Meridian has been referred to as the Earth’s inner Milky Way, a visual that continues to stir the Hanya House team. As above, so below.
There’s a fascinating chapter about the Nilotic Meridian in the book Mystery of the White Lions: Children of the Sun God. It’s a treasure chest of a book, if you can get your hands on it.
